    1918 C. L. Berger and Sons American Transit, serial number 11079 No. 1c. Has a 6.25 inch horizontal circle, double opposite verniers read to minutes. Telescope is 11.5 inches long, magnetic needle 4.25 inches long, 5-inch full vertical circle to telescope. Several screws missing from this instrument, including the magnetic needle clamp and the vertical locking screw, and one level vial is detached.
